Eugene R. London, Jr.

Mr. Eugene R. London, Jr., is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences & Engineering. His resume includes top Department of Defense companies such as, Pan Am World Service, Johnson Controls, Boeing and Jacobs Technology (formerly Sverdrup Technology). He founded SIM&S in 1992 and today provides professional services specializing in information technology, help desk, and telecommunication solutions for government agencies and commercial clients nationwide.

Among his earned accomplishments are Tennessee 8(a) Graduate of the Year, FORSCOM “Contractor Excellence” award. The City of Lucedale, MS awarded him the Key to the City for his efforts there during the post-Katrina rebuild.

Mr.London has a local reputation of being a philanthropist. He is a financial and intellectual contributor to the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) program. In 1999, London established a program called My Way Out. This program offers computer and financial training to recently released inmates. My Way Out also works for job placement while local churches support the program through spiritual counseling. Mr. London works with local school systems and universities offering summer work programs for minority students exploring a career in engineering and science. SIM&S provides Memorial Scholarship assistance in memory of his mother, Doris A. London.

Mr. London continues to play an active role in the Tullahoma community. He serves on the executive board for the Partners for Healing. He is member of the board of directors for the Motlow College Foundation. Mr. London has served on the American Bank Board of Directors since 2007 and is currently the Vice Chairman. Mr. London was appointed by the Mayor to serve on the Tullahoma Area Economic Development Corporation (TAEDC) where he is currently the Secretary. Mr. London received the Tullahoma Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the year award in 2007. He served as the Chamber President in 2011.
